A Week Flies!

(Sunday afternoon, 25th. In my room.) One week has passed since I wrote the last entry in my blog. Time really flies, indeed. Basically, this week I devoted myself to preparing for the seminars on Wednesday 22nd & Thursday 23rd. I had a lot to read in order to attend the classes. Actually, I felt really depressed last Friday(17th) because I couldn't have caught up with the discussion in the classroom those previous days. I was just trying to understand what was going on, sitting in dumb during the seminars. All I could do was just guessing what the professor and other students were talking about. That was really hard. But this time, I think I could figure out their arguments better, though it was still limited to 30 - 40% of them on the whole. Probably because of these difficulties, I had a headache all that day. So after attending the language class in the morning on Saturday 18th, I took a long nap ( for 3 or more hours) in the afternoon. And I thought it was also because I hadn't taken any exercise during the week, so I had a constitutional walk to Victoria & Albert Museum and Natural History Museum on Sunday morning. They are located very near to my lodging. So I made a plan of the route to walk for a long time before leaving. First, I went through Hyde Park toward the southeast, and got to Hyde Park Corner which is on Knightsbridge. From there I went in Brompton Road to see and take a picture of the famous department store Harrods. After that I took my way to the museums. It took about 1.5 hours to go there following this route. I took pictures of "Morris Room" in V&A museum and of huge dinosaur bones in Natural History Museum in the center of the hall. I had a great time for about 1 hour in those attractions, and finally found myself that my headache had recovered now. Then I went back to my room in the dorm, which this time took just about 20 minutes because I chose the shortest route. After having a tea break, I started reading materials again for the next week not in the library but in my own room. I spent Monday 20th & Tuesday 21st on preparing for the seminars mainly in my room, which means I had not gone to the university library until Wednesday 22nd. The essay writing workshop was held after the seminar on Thursday from 7:30pm. And I could know how to create good essays by listening carefully to my professor's explanation. At the end of this term, we, the full time students who are taking the course, have to submit two essays about 5000 words long to get credits. This is what I'm most worried about now. I've decided to write my blog entries in English to improve my writing skills and, hopefully, speaking skills also, even if I cannot expect its effect very much. I know most of the readers who read my entries, for which I'm sincerely grateful, can understand my easy English without any difficulties.
